What this is

90 minutes from San Diego

There's a weight you've been carrying for so long you've stopped noticing it's there. EXHALE is three days at Breathe Inn to finally set it down — breathwork, Temazcal, and enough quiet to hear what's underneath it.

Breathe Inn is a private property in the mountains and valleys outside Ensenada, ninety minutes from the San Diego border. No coast, no crowds, no schedule that belongs to anyone else.

Twelve people. Two guides. Three days built around one question you rarely get to sit with: what would you do differently if you actually had the space to decide? Mornings move. Afternoons open. Evenings go quiet around a fire.

Jano Galindo

Jano Galindo

Lead guide — movement & breath

Jano came to yoga through rhythm. He was a drummer first, and it still shows: he teaches to a beat, and somewhere around day three you notice the whole room breathing on the same one. He's been a student of the practice since 2001, an E-RYT 500 trained under Tim Miller and Sri Dharma Mittra, a Lululemon ambassador, and the creator of SENSES, the yoga festival he built in San Diego. He leads the morning movement and the daily breathwork. He also still gets nervous before every class, twenty-five years in — which is most of what you need to know about him.

Anne Nungaray

Anne Nungaray

Integration circles & breathwork

Entrepreneur, certified yoga instructor, aspiring organizational psychologist. Anne came to this work the long way around: through her own burnout, and the reset that followed. She leads the integration circles — the conversations that turn what you feel during the week into what you actually do differently once you're home. She is warm, direct, and very hard to perform for.

Before you ask

Questions.

01Do I need yoga experience?
No. Sessions are guided for every level and every practice is optional. Most guests arrive having done nothing like this before.
02How do I get there?
Breathe Inn is roughly 90 minutes from the San Diego border, outside Ensenada. Full driving directions and a carpool list go out to everyone two weeks before the retreat. A valid passport is required to cross.
03What should I bring?
Comfortable layers, something to move in, a swimsuit and towel for the Temazcal, sandals, and a warm jacket — the valley gets cold at night.
04Is the Temazcal safe?
Yes. It is led by an experienced facilitator, you control your own time inside, and you can step out at any point. Anyone pregnant or with a heart condition should speak with us first.
05Can you handle dietary needs?
Yes — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergies are all accommodated. You will be asked when you book.
06What is the cancellation policy?
Deposits and payments are non-refundable. In case of emergency, 50% of what you paid can be applied as credit toward a future Baja Alchemy retreat.

I came for a break. I left with a decision I had been avoiding for two years.
