What this is

From anywhere in the world to Denpasar Airport

7 days in Bali with eleven other people who are also asking better questions than they were a year ago. Mornings that move you, afternoons that leave you alone, evenings that go somewhere real. You come back with a body that feels like yours and a shorter list of things you're pretending are fine.

There's a version of you that exists somewhere past the calendar. Past the group chats, the launches, the quiet math you run at 2 a.m. about whether any of it is going the way you meant it to. That version is not on the other side of a bigger year. It's on the other side of a week where nothing is asking anything of you.

That's the week we built.

Bali is not a backdrop here. June is the island at its best — dry season, warm mornings, the kind of light that makes you slow your walk. Twelve people under one roof, close enough to the water to hear it at night and far enough from the noise that your phone stops feeling urgent by day three.

The days have a shape. You'll move before you talk — strength and mobility every morning, in open air, at a level that meets you where you are. You'll breathe on purpose, in sessions that are less mystical than you're expecting and more physical than you're ready for. There's sound, there's stillness, and there's the part most retreats skip: the integration circles, where what you felt in the morning becomes something you can actually say out loud, and then something you can actually do.

And then there's the rest of it. Long lunches. An afternoon with nothing scheduled. Conversations that start shallow on Monday and are unrecognizable by Thursday. We protect the empty hours as carefully as the full ones, because that's where most of it actually happens.

We keep it to twelve. Not for exclusivity — for arithmetic. Twelve is the largest number of people who can all still be in one real conversation. Past that, someone always goes quiet.

You don't need to be flexible, fit, spiritual, or sure of anything. You need eight days and a willingness to be honest for a few of them.

Not an escape. A return to yourself.

Who holds the space

Your guides.

Anne Nungaray

Anne Nungaray

Integration circles & breathwork

Entrepreneur, certified yoga instructor, aspiring organizational psychologist. Anne came to this work the long way around: through her own burnout, and the reset that followed. She leads the integration circles — the conversations that turn what you feel during the week into what you actually do differently once you're home. She is warm, direct, and very hard to perform for.

Jano Galindo

Jano Galindo

Lead guide — movement & breath

Jano came to yoga through rhythm. He was a drummer first, and it still shows: he teaches to a beat, and somewhere around day three you notice the whole room breathing on the same one. He's been a student of the practice since 2001, an E-RYT 500 trained under Tim Miller and Sri Dharma Mittra, a Lululemon ambassador, and the creator of SENSES, the yoga festival he built in San Diego. He leads the morning movement and the daily breathwork. He also still gets nervous before every class, twenty-five years in — which is most of what you need to know about him.

Before you ask

Questions.

01Do I need to be fit or flexible for this?
No. Movement sessions are scaled to whoever shows up, and every one of them has a version that works for you. Nobody has ever been the least capable person in the room — that spot doesn't exist here.
02Is this a religious or spiritual retreat?
No. There's breathwork, stillness, and a sound ceremony, and they're all physical practices with real effects — not doctrine. You're welcome to bring whatever you believe. You won't be handed anything.
03I'm coming alone. Will that be strange?
Most people come alone. By dinner on the first night that stops being a fact anyone notices. Twelve is small enough that nobody stays on the outside of it.
04What's the payment plan?
$290 secures your seat today, then ten monthly payments of $290. Or $2,900 paid in full, which saves you the plan fee. Both are on the booking page.
05What's the refund policy?
Deposits are non-refundable.
06Do I need a visa?
Most passports get a visa on arrival in Indonesia, valid 30 days. Check yours against your own government's guidance — and make sure your passport is valid at least six months past June 19, 2027.
07How connected will I be?
There's Wi-Fi. We just ask you to use less of it. Sessions are phone-free, and most people find their screen time drops on its own by day three.
08What should I pack?
We'll send a full list once you're in. Short version: light clothes, something you can move in, a swimsuit, reef-safe sunscreen, and one thing to write in.
09Why only 12 people?
Twelve is the largest number of people who can all still be in one real conversation. Past that, someone always goes quiet.

I went in thinking I needed a break. I came out with a decision I'd been circling for two years.
